Expert Witness Testimony
Sworn testimony in deposition and trial proceedings on matters of forensic psychology, correctional standards of care, psychological evaluations, and mental health treatment. Drawing on years of clinical and correctional experience to provide credible, defensible expert opinions.
What This Involves
Expert witness testimony goes beyond consulting — it involves providing sworn opinions in legal proceedings. This includes deposition testimony, trial testimony, and the preparation required to withstand cross-examination. Expert witnesses must be prepared to defend their methodology, conclusions, and qualifications under oath.
Dr. Mantonya provides testimony on psychological evaluations she has conducted, correctional standards of care, mental health treatment practices, and the intersection of psychology and criminal behavior. Her direct experience within the correctional system gives her testimony a practical foundation that purely academic experts cannot match.
Given the significant time commitment and professional responsibility involved, expert witness engagements are accepted on a selective basis and priced accordingly.
